Studio Policies

This page outlines the policies governing artwork, intellectual property, communication, and the use of technology in connection with works created by Christina Leigh operating under CLR Creations LLC. These policies exist to protect the integrity of the work, the artist, and those who engage with the studio.

Copyright and Intellectual Property

All original artworks, images, writings, concepts, and visual materials produced by Christina Leigh under CLR Creations LLC are protected under United States and international copyright law. Copyright remains solely with the artist unless explicitly transferred through a written agreement signed by both parties.

The purchase of an original artwork or print does not grant the buyer reproduction rights, licensing rights, or permission to alter, distribute, or commercially exploit the work in any form. This includes reproductions, digital scans, merchandise, publications, marketing materials, NFTs, or derivative works.

Collectors, galleries, and institutions may display purchased works for personal, educational, or exhibition purposes. Any reproduction for publication, press, or commercial use requires prior written permission.

Artwork Ownership and Authenticity

Ownership of a physical artwork transfers to the buyer at the time of purchase. Intellectual property rights remain with the artist. Certificates of authenticity are provided upon request.

The artist retains the right to photograph, document, and reference all works for archival, portfolio, exhibition, publication, and promotional purposes.

Resale of artwork does not include transfer of copyright. Artist resale rights may apply where protected by law.

Limited Edition Prints

Limited edition prints are produced in fixed quantities disclosed at the time of sale. Once an edition is sold out, no additional reproductions in that format will be produced. Variations in color may occur due to screen and printing differences.

Commissioned Work Policy

All commissioned artworks produced by CLR Creations LLC are subject to a formal written agreement prior to the initiation of any project. No commissioned work will begin without a signed contract executed by both the artist and the client.

The commission contract defines the scope of work, concept, timeline, pricing, payment schedule, usage rights, and any additional terms specific to the project. A non-refundable deposit, as specified in the contract, is required to secure the commission and reserve studio time.

Commissioned works remain the intellectual property of the artist unless otherwise explicitly stated in a written agreement. The purchase of a commissioned artwork transfers ownership of the physical object only and does not grant reproduction, licensing, or commercial rights.

The artist retains the right to document, photograph, and reference commissioned works for portfolio, archival, exhibition, publication, and promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Revisions, changes in scope, or cancellations after the contract is signed are governed by the terms outlined in the commission agreement. Failure to execute a contract or submit required payments will result in the commission being declined or discontinued.

This policy exists to ensure clarity, professional standards, and mutual protection for both the artist and the client throughout the commissioning process.

Artificial Intelligence Policy

CLR Creations LLC does not use generative artificial intelligence to create original artworks or replace human authorship. All artworks are conceived and executed by the artist through direct material engagement.

Digital tools, including AI-assisted tools, may be used for administrative, research, writing, documentation, or organizational support. Images, text, or data from this studio may not be used to train artificial intelligence systems without written consent.

Copyright Warning

All content located on this Site, including images, paintings, photographs, text, and design elements, is protected by copyright. Unauthorized copying, reproduction, modification, distribution, display, publication, licensing, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.

Unauthorized use of copyrighted material may result in civil liability, claims for damages, and criminal penalties where applicable.

Privacy Policy

Prints ship within one to three business days unless otherwise stated. Shipping is via United States Postal Service and may not include tracking. International buyers are responsible for customs fees.

Use of Artwork

All prints, original paintings, and sketches are sold for private use only. Copying, modifying, sublicensing, or commercial use is prohibited.

Accuracy of Content

Information on the Site is provided for general purposes and should not replace professional advice. Accuracy is not guaranteed.

Indemnification
